June Favourites

Good morning gorgeous people. It’s about time I did a favourites blog post for June before the month is over. Unfortunately this month I wasn’t as organised and didn’t get a photo of all of the products and things I will be talking about so I will just have to tell you the names instead.

Burts Bees

This month I purchased two products from Burts Bees which go with me in my handbag everywhere. First up is the 100% natural ‘All Aglow Lip and Cheek Stick’ in shade Blush Bay. I have been using this as my blush and highlighter for the past month and absolutely love it. It is super easy to apply and who doesn’t love a two in one? The second product from Burts Bees is their tinted lip balm. Mine is in shade Hibiscus and is a lovely deep pink colour. It’s really moisturising and the colour looks like you’re wearing a lipstick.

I was kindly gifted some items from Typology and have been really enjoying using them in my skincare routine recently. The three products that I have been using day in and day out are: Radiance Serum (Vitamin C 11%), Hyaluronic Acid Serum (3% + 2% B5) and their periodic serums which are 4 serums designed to meet the needs of the 4 weeks of your menstrual cycle. All of these products have been tried and tested. I have used three of the bottles in the periodic serums and love them all! I apply the Radiance Serum before bed three nights a week and the Hyaluronic Acid Serum twice a week. My skin has been plumper and brighter and I have really enjoyed adding these to my skincare collection. https://uk.typology.com/

Little Fires Everywhere

You might have seen this TV show on Amazon Prime during lockdown – I mean, what else has there been to do? This was a slow burner for me but when I got to episode four I was hooked! I cried all the way through the last episode haha. It tackles issues of race and relationships and the acting is amazing.

I have delved into the world of gardening over the past few months and I am loving it. We don’t have a very big garden and most of our plants are in pots but I thought I would tell you about two companies I have been very impressed with who deliver.

https://www.plantloveuk.co.uk/ This company has been supporting local Worcestershire & Herefordshire wholesale growers throughout the lockdown rehome their acres of plants by providing a home delivery service. Their selection of plants is beautiful and the customer service was fantastic. For anyone in the area who can’t get out to a garden centre then this is for you. Thanks mum for the recommendation!

https://middletonnurseries.co.uk/ My mum also recommended this site to me after I saw how beautiful her salvias where in her garden during a lockdown socially distanced visit. I ordered 4 salvias which came in excellent condition and all for about £20 with postage. The plants came very quickly and I couldn’t be more pleased with them. They are located in Staffordshire but deliver to a wide area.

Thinking about it, there are probably so many more things I could talk about this month from the dresses I have found to the storage solutions we have used at home. I do pop a lot of content on my Instagram so if you are interested in seeing some of the plants I ordered, the makeup I have talked about in this blog post or just pretty photographs of interiors and lifestyle then please head on over there and follow me.

Happy Sunday guys x
