Good morning everyone. I hope that everyone is doing well! Over on my Instagram a lot of people enjoy seeing different style or interior ideas that I pin on Pinterest style boards. I thought I would share with you guys what we are planning on doing for Christmas in our household with actual bits we have bought and things we are hoping to get.
For those of you who don’t know, I moved into Mr RV’s house in lockdown and we decided that it was time for me to buy into it and for us to be joint homeowners. As it was my first home, I was super excited! I have always loved interior design and we had so many ideas for how we wanted to redecorate the house to make it ours. A lot of sage green and neutrals tones were on the cards.
At the end of November we actually have two new sofas coming for our open kitchen/dining/living space. We live in a one floor home and this space is one of our favourites as it opens out into the garden with bifold doors and is the hub of the house. We wanted to pick bits for Christmas that would tie in with our Scandi style interiors but also pieces that would be timeless.
Product details: Collapsible tree skirt from Amazon, brown and champagne baubles from John Lewis, cream baubles from Cox & Cox, pine cone ornaments from Amazon, assorted scandi style decorations from The Range (pr products) and Christmas wreath from Cox & Cox. We also have a lot of olive green baubles too but I couldn’t find a picture of them to show you guys. We are still hoping to get a few more decorations for the dining table and some Christmas candles.
I can’t wait to share pictures with you all once it has all come together. For those who don’t know where to start with planning decorations and perhaps a theme for this year, my go-to is always Pinterest. There are so many fantastic ideas on there if you are looking for some inspiration. Perhaps you already have an idea of a theme…I would love to hear what you’re doing.
I will be writing another blog post in a couple of weeks, again using Pinterest boards, to talk about lots of different ideas for wrapping presents this year. There are some beautiful designs! I am finding it hard to pick how I am going to wrap my gifts for my loved ones.
Have a good Saturday X
