The Small Business Christmas Guide

I cannot quite believe that it is almost Christmas! What a year it has been for us all and one nobody will forget in a hurry.

For this blog post, I have collaborated with a few small businesses which I found and fell in love with. I then approached them to ask if they wanted to work with me on my social media channels and to my delight, they said yes and I am so excited to share them with you.

First up is Cadeaux Paperworks. They are a small independent, female run business based in Worcester. They started in September this year 2020 – it really is a lockdown baby!

What attracted me to Cadeaux on Instagram was that they want to make the gifting sector more sustainable. What makes this gorgeous company different is that their paper is only 100gsm paper from FSC approved sources. For those of you who don’t know what means (I didn’t until I started working with Victoria at Cadeaux) is that the density of the paper is quite thick. We normally use 80gsm paper. The paper at Cadeaux contains a lot of paper fibres and can be recycled alongside normal paper. It also isn’t laminated which I love! I love a matt finish. Finally, the prints on the paper are vegetable oil which all helps to make the recycling process easier.

The CadBlog, which can be found on their website, is just amazing. Both articles up there at the moment really inspired me with my wrapping and had really good tips and tricks to follow.

Here is an example of a present wrapped using some of the gorgeous printed paper. I also used the sage and crimson twine. Doesn’t it look beautiful? I then popped on some natural accessories to finish off the whole look. Absolutely perfect!

Thank you to Cadeaux for agreeing to work with me on this blog post. I feel super lucky to work alongside such a forward thinking, stunning company. You can find all of the papers and accessories featured in this blog over on Victoria’s website. She was also featured in Glamour! 🙌 To check out all of Victoria’s gift wrapping designs and accessories, head on over to her website to shop all of her gorgeous products.

Next up is Ivy&Bee-Interiors. I was just scrolling one Sunday morning and came across this stunning little company which looked right up my street. Ivy&Bee is another brand which are aware of their carbon footprint and how to reduce it. For example, the throws they stock are made from recycled wool.

They kindly sent to me these stunning Chana Mango Wood Decorations. Each design comes in a set of four and they look so beautiful on my tree.

The pieces are super chunky and excellent quality. Like I said, they look so good on my tree and they really complete it.

Beth clearly has an eye for interiors as the products she stocks are so lovely. If you are looking for some special Christmas decorations this year from a stunning small business, then visit the website to shop these tree ornaments and more If you head on over to their stories today over on Instagram, there is a cheeky code for free shipping for today only!

Lastly, I was over the moon when Megan agreed to work with me on this blog post because I absolutely adore her ceramics. I have really developed a love for ceramics since having my own home and when I saw Megan’s designs, I just had to feature her. All of her designs are inspired by coastal life and you can clearly see this in her gorgeous colour choices.

She kindly sent me this planter and this really pretty matching dish. Both pieces have new homes in our master bedroom and look so chic and elegant. Megan Hawthorne Ceramics is definitely worth a visit if you are a lover of ceramics. She designs mugs, Christmas decorations, beautiful terracotta planters, vases and frames. You can find her shop here: Handmade Ceramics and Homewares by MeganHawthorneStudio on Etsy

I really hope you enjoyed this blog post guys. If you are looking to shop small this Christmas, then you definitely need to check out these gorgeous businesses. A huge thank you to Victoria, Beth and Megan for sending me these absolutely amazing items! I am so chuffed and I have loved working with you all.

Have a good Saturday x
