The Christmas Party Edit

Happy Monday evening guys and I hope that you have all had a good start to your week. So, you may have noticed my new zhuzhed-up blog posts…πŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈ The style of this post and the previous one are what I plan to keep on sharing with you all so please let me know what you think in the comments below.

It’s Christmas party season and who is actually leaving the house this year for a do? As we all lived in loungewear last year during the festive period, I have put together a little edit of some of my favourite pieces on the high street right now that could work for a party. There are no aff links.

From left to right. This floral wrap dress from Phase Eight is such a gorgeous shape and isn’t too OTT for this time of year. If you are looking for a gorgeous dress that doesn’t scream CHRISTMAS PARTY OUTFIT, then this is for you. Shop it here Classic heels like these from Hobbs are a must in any wardrobe. I love the slingback style and the heel isn’t too high so you can dance all night long. Shop them here. My personal favourite in this line up is this absolutely stunning dress from Whistles. I love the horoscope print and this can be easily dressed up with heels and a bit of sparkle and dressed down with chunky boots and a shacket. Shop it here. Finally is this dreamy dress from Oliver Bonas. The green is very festive and the polka dot is so classic. The sleeves are great and so flattering too. Shop it here.

From left to right. First up are these leather croc boots from Warehouse. I have been extremely tempted by these and who knows, perhaps they will end up in my basket by the time I have finished writing this blog post. These are such a great more dressy boot to wear for a Christmas party. Shop them here. Who doesn’t love a bit of velvet for the festive period? This red velvet blazer would look great with smart trousers, a simple top and some heels. I also really like the ruching on the sleeves. Shop it here. A patterned blouse is always a winner if you don’t want to splurge on a whole new outfit. This star print is perfect for this time of year and I love the tie at the waist and the cuff detailing – so pretty. Shop it here. THESE SHOES! I mean, who doesn’t love a pair of braided mules in their wardrobe? I would personally style them up with culottes or smart trousers, a plain blouse or shirt and a blazer or with a midi dress. Shop the mules here. This quilted velvet shacket is one I have my eye on and such a statement for a Christmas party. Shop it here. Last but not least is this midi dress from Warehouse. I love everything about this and think it would be a great versatile piece for your wardrobe and the shirred bodice is super sexy. Shop it here.

I’d love to know what your favourite piece is from this edit and if you are heading out to a party or two this Christmas πŸŽ„
